Why should I choose Hybrid.Chat?
We are the first Live Chat solution that integrates Chatbots and connects it bi-directionally to a messenger you love. We think its counter productive to install a new messenger for Website chat, which at times is very unstable and reders a slow response to potential leads and customers.
How Hybrid.Chat works?
As soon as a visitor comes on your website, chatbot greets him a customized welcome message. When user clicks on LIVE CHAT button (or blob), Chatbot (as per your design) is triggered and engages with the user right away, making the user feel that your business is active and responds quickly (an important USP in today’s competitive world). Within the chat flow, you can design when in the entire conversation the chatbot should call in the human agent. This can be done after lead qualification or just as a fallback (if the chatbot was not able to understand a query by the user).
What happens when we’re not online?
Great question. If there is a no response from Human agent, the Chatbot can be easily be configured to capture the user details and ensure that someone will get back to them very soon.
What do you mean by “conversation”?
A “conversation” is defined as a continuous exchange of messages between the website visitor and the chatbot / human agent on any messenger. If there is no exchange between the user and agent for 20 minutes, the chat session is closed.
What are Chatbots?
A chatbot (also known as a talkbot, chatterbot, Bot, IM bot, interactive agent, or Artificial Conversational Entity) is a computer program or an artificial intelligence which conducts a conversation via auditory or textual methods (Hybrid.Chat is about text only, for now).
Such programs are often designed to convincingly simulate how a human would behave as a conversational partner, to make the other humans feel comfortable and scale the amount of conversations you can have as a business.
Like Siri or Google Assistant are examples of sophisticated Chatbots. But since they can’t talk about your business, we created one that you can build and customize easily.
Are chats persisted as my visitors navigate to different pages on my site?
Yes, Hybrid.Chat stores the entire chatlog in a server side maintained session and tags it with the visitor’s browser via cookies. The chat history is available after a page is reloaded too, or if they close the browser window and come back later. The only caveat here is that navigation across subdomains will clear the chat history such that the conversation on www.mysite.com is not retained if they navigate to docs.mysite.com.
I have several websites, can I use Hybrid.Chat on all of them?
You will need to deploy a minimum of one bot per domain. Hybrid.Chat’s single bot / chat widget works on single domain only. You can have multiple bots on same domain. Once a chatbot is installed on a domain, it binds to it and will not work on any other domain. Though, you can have several bots working on the same domain.
